Physical environment
Simulation rooms
Courses require one or two simulation rooms. These can be in-situ or at a simulation center, in which case they must contain enough equipment for the simulations to be realistic.
If the courses are run in-situ, it is not possible to share the rooms with any other activity during the course.
Meeting room and debriefing rooms
One room big enough to hold all participants and faculty for introductory lectures and closing discussions. The room should be epuipped for audiovisual presentations.
Faculty HQ
One room for storage of case-specific equipment and for the faculty to meet and eat during the course.
Somewhere to eat and rest
For participants
Equipment
General kits such as chest drain kits, arterial lines, medicine cabinet and such will be needed to be prepared. Lists of contents for the kit boxes can be ordered from the webshop. Some equipment will vary depending on the cases. This is specified in each case
file.
Simulators
One or two (depending on the number of teams) simulation manikins are required. The simulators should be advanced enough to give a realistic simulation.
Medications
Medicines for the simulations are needed and should be clearly marked to separate them from "live" ones. Special labels and if needed, ampuoles and vials, can be ordered from the webshop.
