TAASK Pharmacy released

Presenting reasonably realistic simulated drugs contributes to the credibility of simulations and is something that can be time-consuming before, during and after TAASK courses.
We are therefore releasing a plan for how the course pharmacy is set up and stored during and between TAASK courses. Check out 'TAASK Pharmacy' on www.taask.info/pharmacy , under 'For Course Organizers'.
Four assortment boxes are laid out as the 'pharmacy store' in the operating department or ICU, and another is placed in the anesthesia trolley's drug-drawer. In a single large box that is easily stored between courses there are trays for new ampoules and bottles, as well as a folder of labels to mark simulated drugs at the same rate as they are consumed.
Labels for ampoules, bottles and syringes are printed on standard label sheets ordered from www.avery.com ; empty ampoules can be ordered from TAASK's webshop if necessary.
Although we hope that as many clinics as possible run TAASK Express, we would like everyone who can benefit from TAASK Pharmacy to use this plan to improve their own simulations, the only condition is that we want feedback if there is anything that needs to be improved. ( kansli@taask.nu ).
