TAASK Simulated pharmacy and label library
The simulated pharmacy is a large box containing:
- four cases of simulated medicines including 'anaesthesia+', 'vasoactive+sepsis', and 'haemostasis including uterotonic meds'.
- two specific boxes 'massive/obstetric haemorrhage' and 'local anaesthetic toxicity'.
- eight trays of ampoules and vials for refilling the above cases as medicines are used during courses.
- a folder of ampoule-, vial- and syringe labels to make replenishing the pharmacy efficient during and after simulations.

Manual for assembling TAASK Pharmacy
The manual describes how to put together a TAASK simulated pharmacy using inexpensive storage boxes, labels from the TAASK webshop that you can also print yourself, and empty / water-filled ampoules and vials. You are welcome to use the box and labels for running simulations that are not related to TAASK.

The labels are in English and use generic drug names. Most drug names are acceptable for use in Scandinavia (e.g. Adrenaline, Glucose, Dantrolene). Where there is a significant difference between Scandinavian and English there are two versions (e.g. Fenylefrin and Phenylephrine exist separately since it is important to be able to find labels quickly in alphabetical order).
You can order sheets of labels from from KPH printers in Uppsala via the TAASK Webshop, or print them yourself using the above pdf file, on the following blank Avery Zweckform labels:
25x25-S, 36x17-R, 40x30-R, 64x38-R, 99x57-R, 46x11-R.
The labels fit the following containers that also can be ordered in fairly small numbers at cost-price from the TAASK Webshop, or in bulk from Nordic Pack:
Ampoules: 1ml , 2ml , 5ml, 10ml.
Vials: 6ml, 10ml, 20ml, 50ml, 100ml.
You are welcome to order and use the above even if you are running courses not related to TAASK.
