BECOME A TAASK FACILITATOR

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Usually, you start as a participant at a TAASK Masterclass, and then register your interest in becoming a facilitator to kristin@taask.nu. It is the faculty of the course you attend that assesses whether you are suitable as a facilitator. As a "facilitator during introduction", you will participate in two different TAASK courses, preferably in different locations, and gradually takes on more and more responsibility for debriefing and lectures. You participate together with an experienced facilitator as mentor and support.

After two introductory courses, you are ready to become a facilitator, but have continued support from a more experienced colleague as long as need. Within a year of completing your introduction, you are expected to participate as a full-fledged facilitator in order to maintain your competence.

You register your interest in specific courses via the page called 'Faculty Expression of interest" www.taask.info/RSVP. It is the local course director who chooses his faculty.

WHICH FORMAL COURSES ARE ACCEPTABLE?

During or before your training period, you are expected to attend a formal course in simulation and debriefing, for example CAMES, CAMST, EUSIM, IMS or equivalent. Please get in touch if you are not sure whether the course you have attended is equivalent to these.
